The new CPU based compute partition cpu-genoa is available for all users. Each node holds latest CPUs, 2x AMD-Genoa (EPYC 9654) 96 core, and 1.5 TB main memory. The network is 400 Gb/s InfiniBand but the shared IO configuration effectively yields 200 Gb/s per node.
We plan to provide cpu-genoa nearly free of charge till end of 2024 as the usage situation supports it. For more details, please visit CPU Genoa partition.

30.09. 2024 - Update: All CPU compute nodes are now migrated to Rocky Linux 9.
16.09. 2024 - Update: In Lise's new partition "cpu-clx" now, 688 nodes are available. In the old partition "standard96" only a limited number of nodes is available any more.
On Tuesday, July 30th, we will start preparing another 576 compute nodes of Lise's "standard96" partition for the new operating system. We expect them to be back for production under Rocky Linux 9 in the "cpu-clx" partition on August 1st.
