The two NHR centres, NHR@ZIB and NHR-Nord@Göttingen , share a long history of operating HPC system. This includes the successful operation of HLRN systems as well as NHR systems since 2021. The federal funding within NHR gives rise to separate some of our services.
Please notice that NHR@ZIB and NHR-Nord@Göttingen are two separated systems. The former HLRN does not exist any more.

Project CPU time is granted only at the site selected during the application process (https://jards.nhr-verein.de).
Projects started in Q2/2024 or earlier can ask for a shift of CPU time between the sites.
