05.08. 2024 - HOME file system problems

15:00 update: The file system problems on Lise have been resolved, login to the system has been enabled again.

11:00: We are currently experiencing file system problems in our HOME file system, the system is closed while we are working on the problem.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

02.08. 2024 - User survey

In preparation of the NHR interim evaluation in 2025, a user survey commissioned by the NHR Nutzungsausschuss is being conducted simultaneously at all nine NHR centers. We kindly ask you to complete the survey at the link https://s2survey.net/nhr-user-survey until September 1st 2024. All data is collected anonymously. It cannot be assigned to your person and will be treated strictly confidential.

01.08. 2024 - Operating system migration

In Lise's new partition "cpu-clx" now, 688 nodes are available. In the old partition "standard96" only a limited number of nodes is available any more.

On Tuesday, July 30th, we will start preparing another 576 compute nodes of Lise's "standard96" partition for the new operating system. We expect them to be back for production under Rocky Linux 9 in the "cpu-clx" partition on August 1st.

18.07. 2024 - File system replacement

Starting at the end of August 2024, NHR@ZIB system "Lise" will receive new NHR@ZIB is operating a replacement of the file systems HOME and WORK file system hardware. This involves a downtime for maintenance. Users will copy data during a migration phase.
